This month, we acknowledge the disproportionate impact cancer has on Black communities. It's vital to prioritize early detection in our community through technology like Multi-Cancer Early Detection (MCED). This blood test can detect the presence of multiple types of cancer. MCED tests are a type of liquid biopsy that analyze blood samples to identify cancer cells in their early stages. At CBHN, we're working with partners like GRAIL to dismantle barriers and ensure all Black Californians have the tools and resources to fight cancer.
