Together, these systems form the core of the state’s health care safety net. Great work by our sister org California Health Care Safety Net Institute !
Intrepid Ascent is excited to be working with Amanda Regina Clarke, Ash Amarnath, MD, MS-SHCD and Natalie Sainz from the California Health Care Safety Net Institute to learn more about the joint process between public health care systems and their health plan partners on cross-walking quality data and reconciling gaps to align around performance rates. My colleague, Desa Yadegarians, and I shared preliminary findings from our research during today's SNI and LHPC Data Exchange Convening. It was really energizing to hear systems and plans engaged in tactical level discussions around data alignment.

A big thank you to our member, Alameda Health System, for hosting us alongside staff from the Department of Finance and California Department of Health Care Services last week. This gathering provided a fantastic opportunity to showcase the critical work being done by our Public Health Care Systems (PHS) across California. The visit offered a closer look at the programs and services that are making a difference in our communities, especially for those who are most vulnerable. From delivering high-quality care to advancing health equity, the dedication of Alameda Health System and other public health systems continues to play a vital role in improving the well-being of Californians. We appreciate the chance to share our successes, exchange insights, and highlight the unique challenges faced by our PHS.?
