Join CalArb Board Members Gary L. Benton and Ruth V. Glick for this online California Lawyers Association event on January 7, 2025. This program for litigation counsel, corporate counsel and arbitrators meets the new California CLE Civility requirement. The program will address ethical guidelines and practices with respect to civility among arbitration practitioners, including the link between civility and bias, incivility directed at opposing parties, and incivility directed to administrators, arbitrators and the judiciary.

Young California Arbitration (CalArb) in collaboration with the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law present a Day in the Life of an Arbitration Practitioner. Hear from CalArb members TJ Auner, Giorgio Sassine, and Tuyana Molokhoeva about their experiences as international arbitration attorneys. This is an in-person event only. Lunch provided with RSVP by 11/13.

We were glad to see so many enthusiastic students from the LLM in International Commercial Arbitration Law (ICAL) at Stockholm University as well as some alumni participating in our welcome event kindly hosted my Mannheimer Swartling in Stockholm. A panel of ICAL alumni, consisting of Malcolm Robach, Miljana Bigovi? and Giorgio Sassine and moderated by Krystyna Khripkova shared their views of starting a career in international arbitration and what to expect from a day working as an arbitration lawyer. The panel discussion was followed by a reception offered by our alumni association. We wish the students all the best in continuing their journey in the world of international arbitration!
