It’s back to school time again and CALIC challenged its employees to supply 1200 boxes of crayons to be used in backpacks for the City of Edgewater’s Back-to-School Event. Not only was our goal met by team members in both the Orlando and Edgewater office, but we excelled! We were delighted to donate 1600 boxes of crayons and about a dozen brand new bicycles????! Thank you to our generous team for their donations and exceeding expectations!! CALIC team members attended the event to in which 600 backpacks, full of school supplies (including a pack of crayons ??), bicycles, helmets, and other goodies from the various community groups participating in this event. It was amazing to see the community’s response and the many families who attended.?It was a great way to fill the need for school supplies and have lots of fun at the same time. We hope that all the students starting the school year have a successful and memorable time! #communityevent #backtoschool2024 #edgewater #donations #localbusiness
