?? Ever worked with a school district that's professional development days feel like part family reunion, part community engagement, part party, and whole rigor? ?? It's Caliber Public Schools for me- the vibe is unique, the people are committed, and the workshops foster growth. It was incredible reconnecting with Vivian Johnson, Rachael Weingarten, and many educators who I've had the privilege of training year over year. Nice to roll in with the King of The Teaching Well, Marc Anthony Robinson, and to bump into Dr. Soundhari who was also providing a PD workshop. Our session dove deep on ?? understanding student behavior as a form of communication, ?? the responsibility of adults to stay regulated in the face of classroom management, ?? and highly effective interventions based on the child's suspected function(s) of behavior. Educators are struggling to meet the needs of students with challenging behaviors. Burnout and behavior are linked. ????
