As 2024 is coming to its end we want to reflect and wholeheartedly thank you for being a part of our community. Thank you for consistently attending our events, connecting with speakers and fellow attendees, volunteering, and therefore, contributing to CALI’s mission - empowering women in professional fields. Founded in November 2023 by Togzhan Ibrayeva, Kani Omurzakova, Aknur Abdikarim, and Amina Tushakova, CALI has grown tremendously in just one year. Our first event, “Building Career in Silicon Valley,” held in February 2024, set the tone for an incredible year. Since then, we have organized nine events, including workshops, meetups, a pitch competition, and the session “Central Asia: Women Shaping The Future of Tech” at the Central Eurasia @ Silicon Valley Tech Conference. In total, CALI events have brought together over 650 attendees and featured 41 amazing speakers and mentors from leading companies, including: Apple, Airbnb, Bimp, DoorDash, Handshake, Quisitive, Meta, Silo, Tesla, Intuitive, YouTube, Google, Roblox, Mercari, Microsoft, Stanford, Verkada, Cisco, Applied Materials, ALMA, PayPal, Amazon, Grammarly, MIT, and Alchemist Accelerator None of this would have been possible without your contribution.
