Tokaji (pronounced toe-kai) is a Hungarian dessert wine known as the wine of kings. The secondary aging in a Tokaji cask adds layers of rich, dried fruit and honeyed notes to the whiskey, balancing the bold rye spice. Drum roll please..???? We’re so excited to share the results of the 8th annual Bee’s Knees Week! Everyone came out in a big way this year to sip, share and save the bees!???? We host this annual event in the hopes of not only celebrating an iconic cocktail and creating pollinator habitat, but also to support a shift in how we think about bees, butterflies, bats, birds and all pollinators which sustain our ecosystem. We hope you'll continue to carry on these meaningful conversations about mindful consumption beyond the week (ok, 10 days...) and join us in pollinator-friendly behaviors and choices all year long. Thanks to your participation, this was our BIGGEST year ever. We’ll be planting a whopping 320,000 sq/ft of new pollinator habitat this year!?? And if you’ve been following along - that brings our total to over 1 MILLION sq/ft of new habitat pledged and planted to support pollinators and a diversity of wildlife.?? Traditionally, "distilleries made the spirits and bars made the cocktails. Today, the lines have blurred, and distilleries across the country are opening craft-focused bars with thoughtful menus and the necessary talent to keep them running." We're incredibly proud to be at the forefront of this emerging trend, having the first distillery bar ever to be a finalist for a James Beard "Outstanding Bar" Award. Bartenders and distillers share a common passion for craftsmanship, quality and creativity.
