The International Criminal Court (ICC) recently issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. This marks the first time in history that the ICC has issued an arrest warrant for war crimes against officials from a Western-allied state and the first time an Israeli leader has been summoned by an international court for atrocities against Palestinians.
