Yesterday, new employees completed New Employee Safety Training (NEST) and Manlift training. Welcome to the Hull team, everyone!

According to the CDC, mental health issues affect the construction workforce at a much higher rate than most other industries, which is why we remain dedicated to the mental wellness of our C.A. Hull family. We are proud to announce that we have partnered with Headspace to provide an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to all employees and their families. This EAP offers free and confidential assessments, counseling, referrals, work-life services, and much more. These resources are all available through the Headspace app, providing our employees with both privacy and flexibility. The goal of providing this service is to help each employee and their family members navigate the challenges of life so they are at their best both on the job site and at home.

C.A. Hull was recently awarded a bridge reconstruction project in Calhoun County. This $4.4M contract includes deep overlay, partial deck and expansion joint replacement, structural steel repair, substructure patching, concrete surface coating, full-depth deck and steel repairs, signal work, lighting, and approach work on M-96 (Columbia Avenue) over I-194 in the city of Battle Creek. Work will begin this spring.

Our hardworking project team in Dearborn took a break from the cold to attend training with Hilti Group on their powder actuated tools.

Thank you to our 2024 clients for allowing us to do what we do best and improve communities, counties, and campuses all across Michigan.

Over the 27 projects worked on in 2024, our team completed work on a total of 79 bridges! This included rehabilitation work to 71 structures as well as constructing 8 new bridges.

This week we welcomed four new members to our team. Congratulations, Bradley, Evan, Richard, and Danielle on completing your New Employee Safety Training! We’re excited to have you a part of the Hull team.

As we head into the new year, we're looking back on all that we accomplished in 2024. During our 2024 construction season, our team completed work on 27 projects across the state of Michigan!
