A few weeks ago, we hosted an incredible webinar diving into the key goals and initiatives of Rural Healthy People 2030— designed to set health promotion and disease prevention goals for the United States over the next decade. Relying on data from a national survey of rural stakeholders, Rural Healthy People 2030 identifies the most important Healthy People priorities for rural America for the current decade. Join Dr. Murray C?té and Dr. Alva Ferdinand as they present the findings from the Rural Healthy People 2030 survey, how rural health priorities have changed over the three decades of the Rural Healthy People initiative, and ways in which the audience can access and utilize the edited Rural Healthy People 2030 volume published by the Southwest Rural Health Research Center at the Texas A&M University School of Public Health Catch the replay here: https://lnkd.in/gQY96cxr #ruralhealthypeople2030 #webinar

A proud graduate of a CAHME-accredited program, now leading transformative healthcare initiatives at Cleveland Clinic. Thank you Kaitlyn for your capstone work with CAHME: https://lnkd.in/gRraJYHr #CAHMEImpact #HealthcareLeadership #CAHMEAwards
At the National Center for Healthcare Leadership (NCHL) 2024 Executive Forum, I got to catch up with Kaitlyn Apodaca, MHA with the Cleveland Clinic. Kaitlyn was part of a great student team a few years ago who worked on a a capstone project with CAHME | Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education. Kaitlyn is in process of making a great impact in healthcare, and someone to watch. Thank you Leonard Friedman and Robert Bonar of the George Washington University MHA program for allowing Cahme to access this type of talent in projects essential to CAHME’s mission.

Did you know that students in CAHME Accredited Programs Excel in Case Competitions? ? These competitions allow teams of students to analyze real-world challenges and present their recommendations to a panel of expert judges. They are also a valuable resource for networking with industry professionals and young careerists and building essential leadership and presentation skills. ? Not surprisingly, the high quality of education provided in CAHME Accredited programs means that students in CAHME Accredited Programs excel in case competitions with approximately 89% of the top slots going to CAHME Accredited programs in the past 4 years (which includes events at programs not hosted by CAHME-Accredited programs). CAHME created a web page for students that provides: - Details about case competitions, including the benefits of participating. - Case competition tips and techniques courtesy of CAHME site visitor Dr. Warren S., DSc, of the?Kinetix Group. - A four-year listing of how well students from CAHME-Accredited programs perform in leading case competitions.
