What is an employer’s duty to prevent injuries from caught between? The correct answers are 2: Hold briefings with workers and 4: Guards on power tools. Employers have a duty to educate workers about the hazards associated with caught-between injuries, which is achieved through regular safety briefings. Additionally, implementing guards on power tools is crucial for preventing these types of injuries by providing physical barriers that protect workers from moving parts. Both measures are essential for ensuring a safe working environment. Now, onto another question from the OSHA: Caught Between module on aQuiRe:

Elevating Construction Professionals | Career Growth, Leadership & Workforce Development | Master Electrician | Farm Founder
I’m not going to sugarcoat this post. No one is running from the construction industry. They’re running from the toxic culture. The biggest problem in construction isn’t a workforce shortage. It’s the way workers are treated. If you’ve spent any time in this industry, you know exactly what I’m talking about. You’ve seen it firsthand—good men and women give everything to their trade, only to be treated like garbage by industry “leaders”. This has created: ?? High turnover ?? Burn-and-churn leadership ?? A Mental health crisis ?? A culture that values output over people And much more… So, why bother hiring a workforce you can’t keep? We don’t have a hiring problem. We have a retention problem. The workforce shortage? It’s just a byproduct of the cultural representation industry leaders created. Until we fix that, no amount of recruiting or "attracting" will save us. ? Want loyalty? Invest in your people. ? Want retention? Give them a future. ? Want respect? Start giving it first—remember, you hired them. Stop looking outward and start looking inward. We’re not asking for change, we’re demanding it. If you agree (or disagree), let’s talk and repost with your thoughts. What’s your take? ?? #Fightforthetrades #Construction #Skilledtrades #Retention
