The proliferation of AI has amplified the long-term problem of fake employee accounts being created on LinkedIn - an issue that has impacted companies of every size. Even Caffrey Hill isn't immune from the problem. We were recently notified that a fake profile had been created for someone in Romania claiming to be our "Sales Manager." (They aren't.) It served as a great reminder ... always confirm that the person with whom you are dealing is actually employed by the entity they claim they are representing. Be curious. Ask good questions. Monitor your accounts regularly.
