Born in Italy and raised all over the U.S., Corina now calls Dallas, TX home. Kristine began her journey with Café Momentum as an intern in 2016-2017, and was the first young woman to graduate from our program. Over time, with the mentorship, skills development and support that Café Momentum provides, Kristine grew into a confident leader, motivated by her passion to give back. Today, she is a proud business owner and integral part of our Board of Directors, using her voice and experience to guide the very organization that once empowered her. In December of 2023, Lucci crossed the stage in our winter graduation ceremony as Valedictorian and hasn’t stopped since. As a leader among his peers, he recently completed his internship at Café Momentum, gained employment at Chili’s, and joined our Momentum Ambassador program, where he advocates for justice-involved youth on a national level. Caught our early birds at Café Momentum Academy this morning. An integral piece of our ecosystem of support is a personalized pathway to high school graduation- no matter where our youth are currently on their educational journey. Accessibility to teachers, tutors and post-secondary guidance is something we pride ourselves on. It’s something Dallas can celebrate with us.
