关于我们
Reconcile New Orleans (RNO) envisions a New Orleans where all young people are embraced and empowered to pursue their potential. To see that vision into reality, RNO’s mission focuses on supporting more than 100+ young adults each year, ages 16-24, as they transform their lives. We do this by encouraging their personal growth, providing workforce development and training, and equipping them with tools to achieve their potential. Located in historic Central City, New Orleans for more than 20 years, RNO’s Café learning laboratory and Workforce Development Program provide Interns with skills, renewed confidence, connection to a community that believes in them, and tools and resources that empower them to navigate their personal and professional ambitions beginning with a meaningful employment experience. Reconcile’s commitment to expanding opportunities for young people in our community extends beyond our campus in Central City.?Today, Staff and members of Reconcile’s Alumni Advisory Council joined with other statewide advocates for Opportunity Youth Day at our state capital. We’re celebrating the recent passage of Senate Resolution 47, authored by Sen. Royce Duplessis, which recognizes the creation of a Louisiana Opportunity Youth Task Force. This group will study the impact of local, state, and federal systems on young people and how they may prevent them from staying connected and pursuing their ambitions.?
