Our Engineering team met with Doug Espinoza - MBA and Richard Burfield from RJG, Inc. for yet another training session ???? We began with an overview discussion of Traditional Molding vs. Decoupled Molding. Then, we gathered around the press to conduct a series of studies, including check ring inspection, load capacity, speed linearity, gate seal, pressure loss, and melt temperature probing. This was all very informative and helpful for the team to gain the perspective of Processors, focusing on the following: ?? Machine Capability & Response Testing – Understanding how to evaluate an injection molding machine’s capabilities and response to different parameters. ?? Troubleshooting Techniques – Learning expert tips and tricks to diagnose and resolve machine issues effectively. ?? Material Lot Variation Management – Strategies to handle inconsistencies in material properties and ensure process stability. ?? Process Development from Scratch – Understanding how molders build processes in order to better utilize for process development in Moldflow. ?? Part Quality & Dimensional Control – Identifying the root causes of defects and implementing corrective actions to maintain high-quality standards. This training has equipped us with the knowledge and tools to enhance our Moldflow processes and tackle challenges head-on. We look forward to applying these skills in our daily operations! #InjectionMolding #Moldflow #Simulation #TraditionalMolding #DecoupledMolding #ScientificMolding #RJG #Plastics #Manufacturing #Processing #AbsoluteHaitain
