The Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution (CADR), Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law has been established to promote students’ and researchers’ interest in Alternative Dispute Resolution constituting dispute resolution methods like Arbitration - International, and Domestic; Negotiation, Mediation, and Conciliation. CADR has also sought to build an Investment Arbitration community in India. Started in 2018, the Centre strives to organize stimulating discourse which is relevant to, not only the academia, but also the professional world and thus add to the literature of ADR. In pursuance of its objectives, CADR has initiated various novel and successful events, lectures, competitions et. al. in collaboration with valued partners in the professional and academic world.

  • CADR-RGNUL invites views and insights on the theme: 'Revisiting Arbitrability: Evolving Dimensions and Emerging Challenges in Dispute Resolution.' This initiative aims to foster critical discussions on the evolving landscape of arbitration and dispute resolution. The Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution is elated to announce that a team comprising Rasleen Kaur, Mustafa Topiwala, and Dayasakthi R have won the Best Mediator and Spirit of the Tournament award at the NALSAR Mediation Tournament 2025, organized by NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad.   • The Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution, RGNUL is immensely pleased to present Volume 1 of the Review of Alternative Dispute Resolution (RADR), 2023- 24. We proudly present in this Volume a collection of insightful articles on the evolving role of arbitration, mediation and other ADR mechanisms in contemporary legal practice by some of the most knowledgeable minds in the legal community. We would like to extend our gratitude to the authors for the effort and the several hours invested in their contribution to the Journal. This edition presents a diverse collection of research papers, case commentaries and legislative analysis on emerging trends in ADR. It explores key legal developments in arbitration, mediation, and dispute resolution across various domains, including arbitration in healthcare, media, and antitrust regulations.
