Cadmus Duo

Cadmus, whose name means “to excel”, was a Greek mythological hero who founded the city of Thebes, and after slaying a mighty dragon, used its magic to create a large army of men to found the powerful city of Sparta. As musicians, we hope to use our music to create novel experiences and contribute to meaningful memories, just like Cadmus used his bravery and blessings to contribute to the development of the renowned city-states of Greece. Please contact us if you need musicians for your next event! We would be happy to organize a string duo performance (violin and cello), provide themed background music, serve as accompaniments, or perform with your group/orchestra as guest musicians for free! Additionally, our string duo is partnering with Maine East's Orchestra Program to offer a String Peer Tutoring Program (violin, cello, viola, bass) for Maine East students!
