This afternoon Cadence founder and CEO Chris Altchek joined Lifepoint Health?’s David Dill,?Ascension Saint Thomas' Fahad Tahir and TeamHealth’s Leif Murphy on stage at Nashville Health Care Council #Sessions2024. The group delved deep into the transformative power of collaboration in driving results for patients, communities, and health systems. Chris shared, “When it comes to these kinds of partnerships, instead of angling for ownership or interest, we take the approach of ‘we’re all in this together’ because it’s really not a zero-sum game.” Technology will have an even more profound impact on how healthcare is delivered in the coming decade. It’s not just about making care more efficient, it’s about making it more proficient. The future is about forming fewer but deeper partnerships, working alongside the best health systems to personalize guidelines and raise the standard of care at scale.

In a recent conversation with our Care Team she shares how helpful Cadence has been on her health journey:? “The people I’ve connected with over the last two years have been wonderful. I look forward to it,” Marilee said. “Having this to go to in between my visits is a real gem. We review these reports from Cadence every time I see [the PA]. Having the record of my blood pressure and weight loss on a daily basis helps me to relax and enjoy life as it is. This is a routine for me and something I will continue to do as long as I am able.” We are honored to support patients like Marilee, who find comfort and confidence in the consistent care and insights provided through Cadence. At Cadence, we resonate deeply with Dr. Eve Cunningham MD MBA’s insights on the burdens primary care physicians face. In her recent fireside chat at the MedCity News INVEST Digital Health conference, Dr. Cunningham addressed the overwhelming influx of patient data, much of which burdens physicians with unnecessary details. In today’s #MissionMonday, we revisit a conversation had with Jessie: a 73-year-old from Hickory, North Carolina living with congestive heart failure. Thanks to Cadence’s remote patient care program, she’s able to easily manage her health from home and keep track of her daily vitals. "I've had a wonderful experience with Cadence," Jessie said in the video. "They're all wonderful people. It's really nice to know there's somebody that's keeping track of you.” With Cadence's support, she’s been empowered to manage her care, even though she was initially hesitant about using new technology. "Cadence set my phone up for me," said Jessie. "They took my blood pressure and then showed me how it would go to my phone." Her goal? To regain her health and get back on the road with her husband, riding their motorcycle to places like Graceland and the California coast.?
