On the other side of the ocean, DE-YAN was in Las Vegas, tasked with infusing innovation at Intuit Connect. #b2b experiential work often gets overshadowed in our industry. So often, b2b is briefed almost as an apology; that it can't be the spectacle of a consumer activation. If anything, the opposite can be true. Industry audiences are starved for a higher bar of engagement and the business value of raising that bar is almost immediate, since the activation is often action or transaction oriented. This center piece to Intuit Connect highlighted its flagship brands. The hub for 2400+ attendees to engage and demo. Data driven lights sculptures and 3D AI photobooth experiences anchored the moment in time and amplified attendee experience on social. #experiential #intuitconnect #ces2024

To launch SheaMoisture's Skin Cleansing Collection, we transformed the luxurious Fouquet Hotel and spa into a? “GLOWasis” and welcomed over 45 influencers and editors to a retreat celebrating relaxation, self-care, and SheaMoisture’s rich heritage through their plant-based formula, and body wash made especially for melanin-rich skin. The day began with an engaging breakfast event featuring a panel discussion with Blake Lawren, Eni Popoola, and Unilever R&D Scientist Kierstyn Harris. Guests then explored the new product line through thoughtfully curated displays and interactive moments. They enjoyed spa treatments designed to educate them on the collection’s transformative properties, including deep tissue massages, revitalizing facials, and soothing foot treatments with the new line, as well as a calming sound bath experience led by wellness expert, Teya Knapp. Throughout the day, guests were able to get a professional portrait photo during individual #ShowThatGlow photo sessions to capture their radiance. Each guest received a personalized “Glow Up Kit” with the full collection, a plush bathrobe, and other self-care essentials. They also created custom SheaMoisture Glow Ritual sections on their Amazon storefronts, sharing personalized product "cocktails" with their audiences. QR codes placed throughout the space allowed guests to easily share on social with their audiences, making GLOWasis a luxurious celebration of confidence and inner glow.

The crew at SOBOL has been cooking up on a lot of large footprint, full-scale builds lately. But we've also been working hard with our clients to deliver and activate scalable custom branded elements that can be re-utilized across a variety of events - driving sustainability and emphasizing versatility. No better example than the work with our friends at Google Cloud over the past 30 days, we've worked with our partners to build elements like custom TV stands, a 'living Google Cloud logo,' transportable demo station kiosks, and more. As fun as it is to build out spaces from the ground up, I love keeping things fresh with a lil challenge to work on custom elements that can live within existing spaces and also make sense for future programming.

It's hard to imagine this piece of work has been five full years in the making but great things can take time. The story of the LEGO Group's collaboration with Pharrell Williams is the story of two powerhouses of creativity and ingenuity coming together to tell the story of how the imaginative power of LEGO? creation offers infinite potential for everyone everywhere. It's been a pleasure to play a small part in supporting bringing this project to life, the full scope including the Over the Moon brick set and the beautifully entertaining Piece by Piece movie, in theaters now. Credit to the combined power of Branded Entertainment: Jill Wilfert, Keith Malone and Tze Hung U in the Entertainment team and Alero Akuya, Kevin K., Katy Woodrow Hill (she/her), Cecelia A. and Max Wang in the Global Brand team. Take a bow, George Gilliatt, the product designer Pharrell was lucky enough to work with. Plus a special shout out to our US team for their terrific work - Brian K Smith and Alisha J.
