For the past several years, Rig 170 has collected toys each holiday season to give back to the local communities we work in. This year’s Annual Toy Drive exceeded all expectations. We would like to thank all those that partnered with us; Continental Resources, Brady Trucking, LTR Fastener and every service company and employee on location. All involved helped this year’s toy drive become the most successful to date. The toys collected were delivered to Banc First in Sulphur for the Sulphur Chamber of Commerce to distribute to the children in their community. Without all of the companies and people involved, this would not be possible. Merry Christmas to all!

Please join us in congratulating Jamie Resendez with Cactus Drilling, Rig 146, on being named the IADC Oklahoma Texas Panhandle Chapter’s SSE of the Second Quarter for 2024! Jamie is newly employed to the industry and Cactus but is no stranger to the oilfield. Jamie is following in his family’s footsteps and has officially become the 4th generation of his family to work in the oil and gas industry. Jamie previously attended college at NEO and worked as a welder for Cimarron Trailers. His own journey within the industry began in February of this year when he was hired by Cactus Drilling. With a great attitude and willingness to learn, Jamie has quickly become a hardworking team member of Rig 146 and a valued employee at Cactus Drilling.
