Children’s Advocacy Center for North Texas’s Training Institute hosted a training series, The Investigations of Child Abuse. This series showcases various experts who provide guidance on improving child abuse investigations to law enforcement and child protection professionals. A couple of weeks ago, we were honored to host Captain W.L. Noble from the Lewisville Police Department. Captain Noble, author of The Call of the Wild Child, shared his personal experiences with child abuse, offering participants a powerful survivor’s perspective on abuse and neglect.
