We’re thrilled to welcome Thomas Schellhorn, Vice President of Asset Management, to our growing European team. Based in Munich, Thomas will oversee asset management in Germany and the Netherlands, and will be responsible for leasing and capital improvement programs in the region. “Germany has one of the largest and most important logistics markets in Europe, and Thomas’ depth of knowledge, experience and relationships will give us an excellent advantage for growth in that market,” said Justin Harvey, Managing Director and Head of UK and Europe at Cabot Properties. “This will help enable our European team to effectively execute a targeted management strategy that we believe will provide long-term value for our investors.”   Read more about Thomas’ role and Cabot’s expanding European strategy at the link in comments.

Our Chairman and CEO, Franz Colloredo-Mansfeld, was interviewed by Brian Pascus as part of his year-end recap of commercial real estate market activity. Cabot’s Boston office kicked off the holiday season with a visit to Cradles to Crayons!   Our team spent the afternoon assembling packages of winter coats, clothes, shoes, and hygiene kits for local kids in need. Construction is well underway at the North Melbourne Logistics Hub in Campbellfield.   This 55,837sqm building is situated in the core North Melbourne industrial market with direct connectivity to the Melbourne Airport, Port of Melbourne, and the Melbourne CBD. Scheduled to deliver in Q1 2025, the Logistics Hub is targeting a 4-Star Green Star sustainability rating and offers functional layouts for logistics users at all scales. Looking forward to sharing the final product!

Cabot gives back! Team members from our Amsterdam and Munich offices rolled up their sleeves last week to help construct an amphitheater at De Natuurkamer in the Sloterpark in Amsterdam Nieuw-West. The amphitheater will host entertainment and recreation events for local children. Thanks to De Natuurkamer and Serve the City Amsterdam for organizing a great event for our team to build camaraderie and help enrich our neighborhood.
