From figuring out which neighborhood to live in, registering your child for school, applying for a driving license, opening a bank account, etc., to building a friendly environment and feeling part of community life – CNA is here for you. We provide housing and support services for asylum seekers as they transition into life in North East of the US.CNA operates 60 apartments/houses in different states. They are furnished to provide housing for asylum seekers as they transition to healthy. Job Opportunities The US welcomes large numbers of new arrivals every year — and getting a great job to gain experience and set down roots is a core part of the American dream for many. The good news is that there’s a relatively steady supply of jobs in the USA for immigrants, across both entry-level and more experienced positions — as long as you know where to look. CNA guides newcomers to find jobs in the USA. Legal CNA organizes meetings and events to bring together asylum seekers and immigration lawyers. CNA volunteers help New Americans with school registration, opening a bank account, getting a driver's license, applying for health insurance, etc. Community Support / Social Integration CNA volunteers can play an essential role as companions, providing social and emotional support for newly arrived asylum seekers who have no other connections in the community. Close personal relationships between asylum seekers and local volunteers help new Americans quickly integrate into the US. CNA can also help asylum seekers develop social networks within their new communities. CNA, which pairs asylum seekers with local volunteer mentors, asks mentors who support their partners to find and enroll in community organizations that match their interests, such as sports clubs or volunteer group
