Last week, we successfully transported oversized items from Oklahoma to Michigan using 2 trucks. The COOLERs were about 14.5 feet wide, requiring careful handling during transit. I want to extend my gratitude to the skilled pilot car drivers who assisted us throughout the journey. They were not only able to promptly arrive at the pickup location but also showed great patience as it took some time for the shipper to load up my trucks. The escort services provided were reasonably priced, and the route was relatively straightforward as we traveled over the weekend. However, a challenge arose when we had to pass through Michigan on a Monday. Michigan's regulations do not permit oversized load travel on weekends, even with a pilot car escort. In my opinion, it is more convenient to transport wide loads over the weekend as there is less traffic compared to Monday mornings. Nevertheless, we managed to navigate through this restriction, and overall, the journey was smooth. I am grateful that our boys were able to earn some money through this haul, making everyone involved happy and satisfied with the successful operation.
