A special moment, beautifully captured.
Robert and I had the opportunity to pray over a prospective C12 member, lifting up his business, leadership and faith journey. Thanks to Julie Lamphier for capturing this special moment at this weekend's Iron Sharpens Iron men's equipping conference. A true reminder of the power of community and the impact of faith C12 N. "Ministry happens in the dirty stuff" - Ed Lanko, C12 North Suburban Detroit Member. Leadership isn’t just about success, it’s about making tough calls with integrity. Even in the hardest moments, there’s an opportunity to reflect Christ. How have you seen ministry show up in the “dirty, messy, difficult stuff” of leadership? #C12BusinessForums?#ChristianLeadership?? #KingdomImpact
It's been a minute since I've introduced myself on this platform. For my new network or those that have watched me transition into a new role last year, as a C12 Chair in Novi, for Oakland County, here's a few highlights. It isn't easy to deconstruct what has been in the way and then reconstruct your new way of being -- but that's what we do in this realm of coaching, leadership and even our faith. I love it - there is nothing more rewarding to me that to watch someone recognize a blindspot and shift. Create new awareness and walk out a better leader than they walked in. I love being an executive coach and having powerful conversations that change lives, futures, trajectories, relationships and drive results in leadership and teams across the country. Almost 2-years ago I started feeling a desire to be more intentional with my work. "More intentional?", you say... Yes. I love when my clients express faith or are willing to incorporate the ancient Hebrew writings into our sessions. When they would pause to consider their favorite biblical hero or ask questions like, "What does God want?" Language is a huge source of my work and building a relationship to my word matters. Tracking my integrity, declaring my commitments and realizing that God was calling me to step out of my solo coaching and into a community of believers - has been a process. I spent months researching #C12 , leaders and members. The vision began forming and the excitement to gather local executives together, facilitate conversations and be a multiplier of experience, awareness and challenge in peer groups grew! I made the decision. After just a few months working together with Roger Norberg I can tell you, It's a wild ride. I've learned a lot. Encountered some challenges I didn't see coming. Grown in my own relationship with the Lord. Realized there are a lot more Christian Business Owners and CEOs that I realized. I'm starting from scratch in many ways. Building a new business and bringing leaders together by invitation. Determined to continue my craft of creating space for powerful conversations, deep new awareness and intentional actions based on insight and commitment, I'm moving forward. C12 Business Forums provide proven material, crafted to understand the unique and specific challenges of leadership for CEOs and Owners. Alongside the content we explore each month, our executive members drive toward excellence in the marketplace, dignity toward their employees/vendors/clients and approach wholeness and well-being rooted in biblical truth. If you're a local executive in #Novi, Michigan or the surrounding C12 N. Suburban Detroit area and interested in what it looks like to pair powerful 1:1 coaching with a peer advisory table of local leaders committed to your success as much as their own -- I would welcome the opportunity to connect. We have a few seats open at our table in Novi and will be meeting this March. DM me to learn more or introduce yourself.
