I'm thrilled to announce the opening of Jon Batiste's Jazz Bar in Baha Mar, and not just because he's a musical icon, and not just because he represents so much of what is great about this country in a time when we desperately need to be reminded. What really excites me is the Big Idea behind our client's bold vision for this space, and what it says about what today's travelers are seeking. At the heart of the best luxury hospitality experiences is authentic human connection. So when Baha Mar decided to reduce the number of casino games and create the Jazz Bar, they made a bold bet on what resort travelers truly value: inspiring welcoming destinations with venues that foster celebration, connection, and spontaneity. Our Gensler hospitality design team embraced this vision at every stage of the process. In a time when isolation and division are all too common, spaces like the Jazz Bar remind us of the power of community, creativity, and the simple joy of being present with others. Finishing the year with a new restaurant project for Sticks'n'Sushi at Battersea Power Station in London. With bold, playful, and captivating interiors, the new restaurant features a vibrant mix of colours, from rich reds to soothing blues. The design incorporates a variety of tactile materials, including glazed tiles from Mutina, eelgrass panels from S?uld and sustainable composites from Mater made from coffee bean shells and sawdust, bound with upcycled plastic. Tiled organic columns create an inviting atmosphere, blending casual seating with bespoke furniture. Drawing inspiration from the 1960-1970s, the design artfully combines elements with a modern contemporary flair. Sticks’n’Sushi is all powered up and ready to serve you some delicious bites, sake, and drinks!

ARCHIVISM is a conversation amongst friends, a privately held idea developed over years and manifested into existence through a collaborative effort. A brand formed from experience and aspiration, defined by objects that contain a dialogue of concept and craft – a brand we are proud to be working with on two new collections: Edda and Fane. ? The design intent of the Edda credenza demonstrates a study of proportion and balance. Exhibiting a refined minimalism, it is restrained in approach. The details are withdrawn in order to emphasize the presence of the primary structural elements. Exaggerated overhangs, repeating uprights and retreating doors create a balance in the robust application material. ? The Fane collection elevates books as essential elements of a thoughtfully curated lifestyle, combining functionality with aesthetic refinement. Crafted by artisans from a single piece of solid marble, the bookstand showcases unique veining and durability – and with its minimalist, sculptural form, it supports books while also standing as an artistic statement in itself. With its weight and texture, the bookstand exudes permanence and timelessness, making it a distinctive addition to interiors that value quality and subtle luxury.
