We soaked up some Vitamin D on the slopes – and deck – at Stratton! How many more ski days do you think are left in this season with this beautiful weather?
关于我们
At C.E. Floyd we make every number count. We care about the numbers. And not necessarily the ones you expect us to. Sure, we care about the budget and the dates in the timeline. Who doesn’t? But the numbers that really get us excited are the ones that engineer the most value, help protect the planet and help us earn the complete confidence and trust of our clients, the people we work with and the communities that depend on the buildings we construct. We care about the number of women who work at our business (24%). We care that our client satisfaction rate is 9.1/10 and our repeat and referral rate is 93%. We care about every dollar and pro-bono hour we donate to local charitable organizations, as well as the 400 hours of volunteer time off our employees used this year alone. We care that 60% of our clients are non-profits. And that we have a 74% construction waste recycling rate across our projects. These all ladder up to our favorite number —100.4! That is our B-Corp Brand Impact Score, which shows just how much we’re committed to upholding the very highest standards in environmental and social governance. And, by being a B-Corp, we care about continually improving that score by staying totally transparent and accountable every step of the way. We care about every one of our impact metrics and project performance targets. Because when we care about the numbers, we can help build a better future we can all count on.

We’re proud to be a Certified B Corporation?: a company that demonstrates positive social and environmental impact. We’re part of a generation of people using business to make a better tomorrow a reality today. This #BCorpMonth, we’re celebrating the actions we proudly took to achieve certification, from offering volunteer time off to paying our CEFamily a living wage. We make every number count. Because when we care about the numbers, we can help build a better future we can all count on. #MakeEveryNumberCount

Built on the banks of Lake Cochichewick, the George and Evanthea Demoulas Family Boathouse faced numerous challenges, from water pressure issues to environmental regulations. Working collaboratively with OLSON LEWIS + Architects , we navigated these obstacles and created a facility that meets the school’s needs. The new boathouse isn’t just for the rowing program however; it’s a versatile space that has already hosted school dances, Trustee dinners, and other social events. This facility is a win for the entire Brooks community, providing a beautiful venue for various functions. Read our blog post to learn more about this project. (Link in comments.)

We’re raising the standards for business and showing a better way forward. Our B Corp? Certification means we meet rigorous measures of environmental and social impact. And when we join forces with more than 9,000 other B Corps around the world, we create the #GenB movement. Learn more about our impact at the link in the comments. #BCorpMonth

One of the first priorities at Creative Hub was to reframe and build the gym floor. It was unsafe to walk on and a major safety hazard. To reframe it, we needed to create a temporary floor over the pool. The design also called for steel columns against the brick gym walls to reinforce the aging structure. Creative Hub is an adaptive reuse project, where we’re transforming the former Ionic Avenue Boys Club in Worcester into a community arts center. Your stories are truly inspiring to everyone in the room. As Lauren, the Mentor of the Year recipient, said, “Every role matters.” Together we rise. #2025WiCWeek #WiCWeek2025 #WomenInConstruction #NAWiC #BWiC

At C.E. Floyd 30% of us identify as women. We hold positions in many areas of the company from project management to human resources to finance to marketing and business development. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, women make up 11% of the construction industry workforce. That number falls to only 4% of those working in the trades. If you can see it, you can be it. We make every number count. Because when we care about the numbers, we can help build a better future we can all count on. #MakeEveryNumberCount #2025WiCWeek #WiCWeek2025 #WomenInConstruction #NAWiC #BWiC
