Honored to have hosted such impactful discussions at the 11th Annual Silicon Harlem Next Gen Tech Conference. It was a privilege to have inspiring leaders like Mahroosh Syed and others share their insights on healthcare and community service. We’re grateful for the incredible exchange of ideas on bridging the gap in healthcare equity and leveraging AI for good. Thank you to all panelists and attendees for contributing to the future of healthcare! #NextGenTech #HealthcareInnovation #TechForGood #CBetterFoundation #SiliconHarlem
I am grateful to Clayton Banks for the opportunity to join the healthcare panel at Silicon Harlem | C-Better Foundation 11th Annual Next GEN Tech Conference held at Columbia University. It was a fantastic experience sharing insights about my community service initiative and learning from esteemed healthcare experts like GARY C BUTTS, MD, Dr. Lola Omishore PT, DPT, OCS, ATC, and Brian Aquart. I first remember when Clayton Banks spoke about providing tech equity through the installation of internet and computers in subsidized buildings at the Northeast Regional Alliance (NERA) HCOP Program. It inspired me to continue my efforts in bringing healthcare inequities for the underserved. Equally inspiring are the insights shared by GARY C BUTTS, MD on the current healthcare climate, and advancements through AI that could be made. Additionally, meeting Dr. Lola Omishore PT, DPT, OCS, ATC and gaining her perspective on care delivery from a doctor's point of view has been enlightening. The discussions on leveraging AI to support patients and healthcare professionals have been both fascinating and motivating, especially as an aspiring doctor. As we create more AI and innovations, it's crucial to keep close those generations that aren’t familiar with advancing technologies. Conferences like this provide an invaluable platform for brainstorming solutions on how to ensure that these innovations reach underserved populations lacking access to vital resources. Together, we can work toward bridging the gap and fostering greater equity in healthcare.
