Since 2008, C&S has been a proud supporter of No Kid Hungry. Their investment has helped No Kid Hungry's mission to end childhood hunger in a number of ways, including assisting state and community organizations expand meal programs for kids and families. No Kid Hungry, a national campaign run by nonprofit Share Our Strength, is dedicated to ensuring all kids have access to three healthy meals a day, 365 days a year. With the support of partners like C&S, No Kid Hungry is working toward this goal by helping to launch and improve programs in communities across the country that reach kids and families where they are. The Congressional Hunger Center is on a mission to develop, inspire and connect leaders in the movement to end hunger — by advocating for public policies that create a food-secure world. Through supporting bold leaders who understand the systems that contribute to food insecurity and hunger, they can develop solutions and lead change in our organizations, programs and policies. C&S has supported the Feeding America? network of food banks since 1994 and together, we provided millions of meals to neighbors in need. We partner with Feeding America on child hunger initiatives, including the BackPack and School Pantry programs, as well as the donation of food, funds and disaster-relief items to more than 20-member food banks. Food shouldn’t be an impossible option. For millions of people in America, a daily meal isn’t a choice between different dishes.
