C&C Development and Riverside Charitable Corporation recently broke ground on Lincoln Avenue Apartments, an affordable housing community for the City of Buena Park. The 55-unit community combines funding from several entities including the City of Buena Park and CalOptima Health - providing an $8 million grant to support housing for its Medi-Cal members. Several Lincoln Avenue Apartments units are specifically designated for high-need populations, including five units for student families, 11 units for veterans, and 13 permanent supportive housing units for families and individuals with special needs. Special thanks to all of our partners: In addition to the City of Buena Park and CalOptima Health, financing for the project consisted of an investment by Bank of America through National Equity Fund, Inc. in the Low-Income Housing Tax Credits awarded through the California Tax Credit Allocation Committee (TCAC), California Debt Limit Committee (CDLAC) and Housing and Urban Development; a construction loan provided by Bank of America, and a permanent loan through Citi Bank. Additional financing was invested by The County of Orange, and Orange County Housing Finance Trust.
