???????? MOVEMBER ???????? The last days of the month means the end to this, although Im thinking about keeping it! ?? Such a powerful message behind Movember, shocking stats of adult males struggle with mental health and even more so in Business and contstruction. ?? Having suffered myself on my return from Australia many years ago I know first hand the damage it does and that it can happen to anyone! This year, more then ever starting up on my own with huge stresses and everything comes with running a business it’s crucial we all check in on everyone, friends and family! ???? The surface doesn’t always show what’s happening in someone head! I was one of them who was so happy to lucky and thought I would never suffer or when I did I would just get over it! Something we are very keen on getting involved in is helping out local community groups and sports clubs, and this had to be the first one, we’re delighted to have a pitchside board at Shammy! ?????? This is hopefully the first of many! While it may not be a huge sum we’re looking to sponsor local groups or donate some equipment just to help out and as our small way of giving back to the community. ???? ?????????? THANK YOU ?????????? As we approach being open for half a year already just wanted to reach out personally to everyone!! To all the contractors who use us a lot or those who have used us for the odd bits, it all helps and I appreciate it a lot! Also the suppliers who have helped since day one and up to now! Hopefully the service has been good and we can continue growing! The main point is that by using me your keeping it local, by supporting me your helping me and my family directly, it’s allowed me to grow and employ 2 great employees, Pete and Kim, who have settled in very well and will certainly help the company grow, it’s a great feeling knowing I’m able to offer these a better way of life and working environment then the corporate nationals. It also allowed me to employ my younger Brother Nathan, keeping with the local family feel! So for every screw or every re wire you purchase from Buzz you can feel a little bit better that your supporting a new independent local business rather then lining the pockets of the multi millionaire directors in the nationals. Everyone is different but I certainly don’t like that corporate feel and don’t get me wrong it has come with a lot of stress and pressure opening up but one that I certainly don’t regret! The business is constantly on my mind and while I’m not the over pushy aggressive salesman type, sometimes to me detriment, I appreciate everyone who has done some business with the company, I’m a believer in word of mouth being the best form of advertising especially in a small community like North Devon, and I believe the people who have given us a go are very happy and willing to tell other contractors the same! You may have seen a couple new faces in the office recently so let’s welcome them to Team Buzz! ?? First we are delighted to welcome Pete Ward to the company, Pete needs no introduction to the local wholesale world but for those outside he brings with him 18 years of experience with Wilts and Rexel many of them as branch manager in the Bideford Branch. ???? To be able to to get Pete to join us, as a brand new independent with out any massive convincing, shows that we must be doing something right and the future in the area is certainly with Buzz ? We are delighted to welcome Pete to the team and his knowledge and local trading history within the area will only strengthen what has already been a great start in Bideford and beyond. ??? ???????? MEET THE TEAM ???????? We’re growing it maybe only 1 team member but it’s a great start! ?? Meet Nathan, no fancy corporate titles just a decent all round job type of man! ?? ?? ??? Between deliveries and goods in, Nath is already learning the ropes of the wholesale world, using his experience from retail, with a willingness to learn and a good attitude, he has settled in Well with our existing customers! ???????? Interesting fact about Nathan he stands at over 7ft tall! ?? We think we may have the tallest electrical wholesale employee in the UK can anyone beat him? Wow that was a quick 2 months!!!! We’ve been open that long now and been very busy excuse the lack of updates! We only had a 3 week window to turn it from nothing to getting the doors open so we’ve been busy getting everything sorted!
