Did you know that globally we lose one man to suicide every minute of every hour of every day? Or that testicular cancer is the most common cancer in men aged 15-34? That's why this year and every year, we tackle Movember for our dads, grandads, partners, brothers, sons, friends and colleagues. ? Buslines Group buses have donned the Movember Mo to help raise awareness in our communities, and to support all men to lead healthier, longer lives. #Movember

The 2024 Dubbo NAIDOC March and Family Fun Day started amid rainy, overcast skies which caused a few cancellations. ? Many eventgoers took the free shuttle bus, which also participated in the march.?The bus was decorated with components of the artwork “Connecting Along the Journey” by Contemporary Aboriginal Artist, Amy Allerton.?This was our first time participating in the march, and the turnout, despite the wet weather, was truly inspiring.?Our bus driver Marsha’s vibrant energy filled the shuttle bus as she sang with passengers, creating a joyful atmosphere. ? At the Family Fun Day, Dubbo Buslines Depot Manager, Anthony Dodd, bus drivers Marsha and Ranjeet, and Buslines Group Head of Service Delivery, Chris Moule distributed show bags and bus dioramas for the kids.?We enjoyed watching traditional Aboriginal dances and took part in a smoking ceremony.?Taking photos with eventgoers using the large bus cut-out was a crowd favourite, adding an extra layer of fun and engagement. ? The Dubbo NAIDOC March and Family Fun Day events were a joyous and memorable celebration. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who visited our stall. #NAIDOC2024 #NAIDOCWeek

Dubbo Buslines' first-ever Harmony Week has been a resounding success. Harmony Week is a celebration that recognises our diversity and brings together Australians from all different backgrounds. It’s about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone. The Dubbo team brought in dishes from their heritage for everyone to try; every dish was scrumptious, but Thilan's Sri Lankan coconut dessert and Tony G's lamb curry were everyone's favourites. ? Happy Harmony Week! ? #harmonyweek

In a land where the sun meets the sky, Where giggles and laughter soar up high, There’s a magical bus, oh so bright, That carries young dreamers from morning till night. ? On wheels that spin like candy swirls, The school bus arrives with its merry twirls. Children hop on, their backpacks afloat, Their hearts full of wonder, their spirits afloat. ? The bus driver, a wizard in disguise, Guides the journey with watchful eyes. Seat belts fastened, rules in place, Safety is the magic spell they embrace. ? At each stop, a mini celebration, Families gather, a joyful congregation. Morning hugs, afternoon waves, Love exchanged in sun-kissed glaze. ? Beyond the glass, worlds unfold, Dragons, unicorns, stories untold. The school bus is a magic carpet ride, Where imagination soars far and wide. ? And so, dear travellers, let us cheer, For the school bus adventure, year after year! A vessel of wonder, a journey divine, Where hearts connect and dreams align. #WorldPoetryDay #Poetry #ArtOfWords
