GE Aerospace announced that it plans to invest $1 billion, nearly double last year’s investment, in U.S. manufacturing sites in 2025. This investment aims to bolster engine safety, support expansions and modernize facilities in over 20 communities. It’s a move that will not only create jobs but also spark innovation and significantly elevate manufacturing capabilities. To support Habitat LA’s ReBUILD LA? Wildfire Relief effort, Prologis is contributing 120,000 square feet of warehouse space to store donated goods. Our donation will help Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles manage and distribute furniture and household essentials to families rebuilding after the wildfires.? ? Prologis has been a part of the Los Angeles community for 30 years and has partnered with Habitat LA since 2015, engaging more than 100 volunteers in hands-on projects to build and restore homes. ? Business Roundtable today released its Q1 2025 CEO Economic Outlook Survey, an index of CEO plans for capital spending and employment and expectations for sales over the next six months. The overall Index dipped modestly by seven points from last quarter to 84, roughly at its historic average of 83. Business Roundtable member company Apple just announced its largest-ever investment in the United States. Over the next four years, the company will spend $500 billion and hire 20,000 workers to manufacture AI servers domestically. This major investment in research and development will lead to the expansion of teams and facilities in several states, including Michigan, Texas, California, Arizona, Nevada, Iowa, Oregon, North Carolina and Washington. In Houston, the company will begin construction on a new 250,000-square-foot facility, expected to open in 2026. Additionally, Apple is doubling its U.S. Advanced Manufacturing Fund, originally established in 2017 to support world-class innovation and high-skilled manufacturing jobs across the country. “We are bullish on the future of American innovation, and we’re proud to build on our long-standing U.S. investments with this $500 billion commitment to our country’s future,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO. “From doubling our Advanced Manufacturing Fund, to building advanced technology in Texas, we’re thrilled to expand our support for American manufacturing.
