Representatives from businesses based in Eastern Oregon met in Boardman to learn from Kalundborg Symbiosis, a private Danish non-profit leading industrial symbiosis efforts. Industrial symbiosis is when companies partner to share excess resources and limit waste. When companies work together to transfer waste resources back and forth, it reduces cost for each company, increases community connection and buy-in, and strengthens the local economy. The Center for Sustainable Infrastructure, with the support of Business Oregon, hosted the event. More: https://lnkd.in/gSduqzGM
