Celebrating Miranda K. Gilbert! It’s 12:01 am, in the wee hours of the morning on May 16, the day we celebrate Miranda earning her SECOND Master’s Degree, this one in media and brand management which is also the career direction she is pursuing.?We celebrate Miranda especially today and we all should celebrate her every singe day because this woman has been through more challenge and adversity than is fair for someone who as taken so few trips around the sun.?It’s high time that I celebrate her in this forum, because she is my north star when it comes to finding the courage to do the hard things that I have to face in life.??Lord knows she has managed through so many hard things, most of the time with more determination than I will ever be able to dig deep to find.?I say most of the time because no one is perfect and we’re all allowed to have the preverbal melt down every once in a while.? ?I started celebrating Miranda from the moment of conception.?She just didn’t know it!?None of us knew the wild ride we would be on together.?I won’t go into detail, as it’s not my right to do that, suffice it to say that Miranda has been through every kind of challenge you can image.?She learned, she persevered, she made it to the other side.?Every.?Single. Time…? So, I honor Miranda and I celebrate her for the amazing person she is, for the potential that she represents and the mark she will leave on the world, for the love that she shares with me and my family and for every ounce of her grit, determination, impeccable humor and ability to achieve so much.?I hope that someday I will grow up and be just like her!
