BPW/Triangle's mission is to develop a powerful network of leaders to advocate, educate, and cultivate connections. Business & Professional Women of the Triangle is part of one of the oldest women's advocacy organizations in the United States. Our chapter was established in 1919. We are a 501(c)(4) organization solely run and operated by volunteers, and rely on charitable donations & sponsorship's to support our programming.   • ?? This past weekend, members of BPW/Triangle gathered at Note in the Pocket, where we spent the day volunteering to make a difference in the lives of local kids in need. ?? Our team helped sort, organize, and prepare clothing donations for children who don’t have enough to wear to school. For so many kids, something as simple as well-fitting, clean clothes can make a huge impact on their confidence and focus in the classroom. It was truly rewarding to be part of a cause that makes a real, tangible difference for families in our community. A big thank you to everyone who volunteered and to Note in the Pocket for the essential work they do every day.   • ?? Meet Our September Dinner Speaker: Dr. Meredith D. Clark ?? We are excited to introduce Dr. Meredith D. Clark, a renowned scholar and journalist whose groundbreaking work has shaped the fields of media studies, journalism, and communication. With a focus on race, digital media, pop culture, and politics, Dr. Clark bridges the gap between theory and practice, making her insights valuable to both professional and academic audiences. Dr. Clark earned her Ph.D. in Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has worked as a reporter, editor, and columnist for outlets such as the Raleigh News & Observer, USA TODAY, and the Austin American-Statesman. She’s also been a featured panelist at SXSW and a guest on NPR’s national programs. This fall, Dr. Clark returns to UNC as a tenured Associate Professor of Race and Political Communication.
