Bush Ross Shareholder Jolyon Acosta co-authored an article titled "Florida Adopts Uniform Fiduciary Income and Principle Act" which has been published in the September/October 2024 edition of The Florida Bar Journal. Mr. Acosta was actively involved in getting the Act approved in Florida and is lecturing on the topic throughout the state of Florida. The Act, which goes into effect January 1, 2025, provides guidance to fiduciaries in administering estates and trusts and makes Florida a more attractive jurisdiction for trust administration.
