After much thought and reflection, I’ve decided to close Burwell Beans LLC, the specialty coffee business I founded in 2019. This journey has been one of creativity, growth, and immense fulfillment. As the owner and operator, I built a business from the ground up, achieving six-figure sales and earning recognition in the specialty coffee community. I also served as a North American judge for prestigious global competitions. Through Burwell Beans, I honed my skills in strategic planning, marketing, supply chain management, and customer engagement - skills that complement the leadership and operational expertise I developed over multiple years in industries like biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and real estate. While it’s bittersweet to close this chapter, I’m excited to leverage the entrepreneurial lessons I’ve learned as I move forward in my career. I’m profoundly grateful to everyone who supported Burwell Beans, from loyal customers to industry peers and mentors. Thank you for being part of this journey. We import high quality beans from around the world, striving to give back to the farmers and their families, to sustain our supplier's livelihoods. Our vision is to create the most efficient and environmental roasting process, ensuring our emissions reach the cleanest available in the coffee industry, reusing, recycling and composting our waste streams, in addition to providing the coffee in omnidegradable packaging, as we know our customers demand this.
