Maybe We Should Talk About: Advance Care Planning What is Advanced Care Planning, and how do we properly establish a valuable two-way conversation when discussing potentially difficult topics? The Directors of the Caregiver Programs at Burke and White Plains Hospital have collaborated to honor all the Caregivers in the community. This lecture (11/22 12PM - 1PM) will address these questions from both the caregiver’s and the patient’s perspectives and provide guidance on how to compassionately discuss their future care. This week, we partnered with Albert Einstein College of Medicine to host the annual Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Medical Student Fair on our White Plains campus. Supported by the Association of Academic Physiatrists Medical Student Fair Grant, we welcomed 70 students from 12 medical schools. Participants explored PM&R through hands-on sessions, including musculoskeletal ultrasonography, spasticity management, and multidisciplinary team rounds.
