Recently, we sat down with Cathy Dwyer, Vice President of Information Technology, to discuss her role in driving innovation at Burke Rehabilitation. Under Cathy’s leadership, Burke was recognized as a 2024 Digital Health Most Wired Organization in the Long-Term/Post-Acute Level 7 category—a reflection of our dedication to advancing digital health and improving patient care. Cathy and her team work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure technology not only runs seamlessly but also actively supports better patient outcomes. From pioneering and enhancing electronic health records to integrating innovative tools and streamlining workflows, their efforts empower clinicians to provide exceptional care and drive continuous innovation at Burke. “While IT may not be patient-facing, it’s definitely patient-supportive,” Cathy shared. “By helping our clinicians do the best they can, we’re also helping patients.” Read our Q&A with Cathy to learn more about her leadership and how Burke is shaping the future of rehabilitation: #DigitalHealth #Innovation #RehabilitationExcellence #TechInHealthcare #HealthcareLeadership
