We are thrilled to announce that we are finalizing design milestones for two major Design-Build projects in Florida with Florida Department of Transportation District 1 and Florida Department of Transportation District 7! This success is a result of our strong partnership with Prince Contracting, LLC, Ajax Paving Industries of Florida, LLC, our subconsultant team and FDOT. Both projects, transforming over 18 miles of US 98 in Polk and Pasco Counties, mark a significant step in improving safety and mobility for the region. We’re proud of the collaboration that made this possible and look forward to seeing these designs come to life! Congratulations to Sofia Iliev for earning one of B&N’s four $2,500 Better Tomorrow Engineering Scholarships in 2024! Sofia is currently working toward her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering after deciding early on that she wanted to pursue civil engineering as a career. “I had a feeling that I wanted to be a civil engineer based on my hobbies and extensive research. I quickly figured out that I wanted to work in transportation, which solidified my pursuit of a civil engineering degree.”

Congratulations to the Ohio Department of Transportation on receiving a 2024 America’s Transportation Award for the Downtown Ramp Up I-70/I-71 Project 3B in the Quality of Life/Community Development Medium Project category. B&N partnered with ODOT and the City of Columbus on this $40.9 million project to rebuild the Broad Street bridge over I-71 in Columbus, enhance connectivity to local neighborhoods with wider and safer crosswalks, add bike lanes and improve aesthetics as part of the larger Downtown Ramp Up project.
