Burdette Engineering is honored to have provided electrical design for the improvements completed at the new laboratory space at CU-ICAR. This facility not only supports important work in the medical field but also brings 85 new jobs to the Greenville area. ?
Harper has just completed a tenant improvement project spanning 11,105 square feet, following the shell construction we finished in 2023 at CU-ICAR. This project involved creating specialized laboratory and office spaces intended to support essential work in membrane technology for the medical field. We are proud of this beautiful construction! Burdette Engineering implemented advanced LED lighting and power distribution systems, as well as a brand-new fire alarm system and emergency lighting in this approximately 125,000 square-foot school.
Positioned to be "where dedication meets innovation," the new Wellford Academy of Science & Technology welcomed nearly 500 students at the start of the 2024 school year! The inspirational new school replaces an aging facility on the same site, and is designed to accommodate up to 900 students in an effort to alleviate the unprecedented growth in the Spartanburg, SC area. Progress is underway at Woodland Elementary School in Greer, SC! To accommodate the growing student population, Burdette Engineering is providing the electrical design for a significant expansion, including approximately 35,000 square feet of new classroom space and a 1,000 square foot extension to the cafeteria.
