#WeLoveLA #DineLA #WildfireRelief As our community copes with the devastating impacts of the wildfires, the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board team is doing everything possible to support relief efforts. While so many of our local restaurants are still recovering from the impacts of the pandemic, it's been particularly inspiring to see their amazing resilience and generosity. Many restaurants have stepped up to support Angelenos impacted by wildfires, as well as first responders. In consultation with our restaurant community, we will be moving forward with Dine LA as scheduled from January 24 to February 7 - both to support their ongoing recovery and to offer Angelenos a meaningful way to support wildfire relief. For each Dine LA reservation made, LA Tourism will be donating $5.00 to the American Red Cross for their ongoing efforts, with a generous matching contribution from Banc of California, up to a combined total donation of $100,000. We remain in contact with local officials and hotel partners. Downtown Los Angeles and LAX airport remain out of the path of any fires and their fallout, including smoke, smell, and ash. Although not limited to these elements, some other aspects that we are also monitoring include air quality, availability of needed hotel rooms for displaced residents and emergency personnel, and the overall safety of Downtown LA.?
