Bunch Design is an architecture design office based in Los Angeles. We design with intent so that the spaces we create are inspiring and full of effect. Often designing for first time home owners and friends our projects are thoughtful, creative, and unique. We seek lightness in our approach with simple materials. For us, design is a collaboration between many disciplines, experts, and craftsmen all coming together to make a clear idea and dream a reality. This is the genesis of our company’s name. We hope there is a project that can bring you into our group.

    Our tiniest ADU to date! and yet…one of the best! Situated on a very narrow lot, only 25 feet wide, the front house is like a New Orleans shotgun house. This one rumored to be studio housing for silent movie era production hands. The owners came to us looking for a revamp of an existing garage/ studio space at the back that was useful but uninspiring as an art/work space. Now featured on Dwell+! Photo: Ye Rin Mok

    It is an honor to announce our Hollywood ADU won the 2024 AIA Residential Architecture Awards. "The Hollywood ADU tells a compelling narrative, seamlessly integrating into its neighborhood and reflecting the story of the family that resides there. The building plan is remarkable, aggregating all spaces in a manner that allows for fluid movement from one area to another. Despite its compact size of 950 square feet, the space feels expansive due to its tight yet clever arrangement. The ADU, with its home office seamlessly integrated, focuses on volume rather than a sequential layout. The green accents on the interior, echoing the exterior planters, are a thoughtful touch." - according to the jury. Thank you AIA LA for recognizing the importance of residential design in this city!
