Everybody’s talking about AI agents, but what about AI real estate agents? Traditional real estate platforms are stuck in the past, offering only basic filters that fail to capture the unique preferences of modern buyers and renters. This outdated approach leads to frustrating searches, irrelevant listings, and hefty commissions. Evan Robinson, Jackson Wolfgang Reiter, and Illya N. saw an opportunity to fix that. Their insight??The home search process is ripe for innovation. So they built Relm AI, an AI-powered, commission-free real estate platform that personalizes the home search experience. And it’s working.?Relm has attracted over 32,000 users since launch, achieving a 1.67% search-to-lead conversion rate—7.26 times better than top real estate listing portals. A platform that?empowers buyers and renters to find their perfect home without the hassle and cost of traditional real estate agents? That’s a game-changer. Highly recommend checking out their Bulletpitch feature—linked in the comments!

We had no business pulling this off. One week before #SXSW’s biggest party, we got the call Bulletpitch was taking over Inn Cahoots in Austin, and they had space for us as one of their recent investments. No plan. No time. Just an opportunity for a startup running super lean and with priorities pulling the team at all directions. Most teams would’ve passed. Instead, this Journey team thought outside the box, called in a few Texas-sized favors and our incredible friend & design firm ByBritt Design saw an empty room and turned it into something entirely new—the first-ever Journey Members Only Lounge. At a party themed as a high-energy Carnival—with stilt walkers, money booths, and neon chaos—we built the opposite. A calm within the storm. A space inspired by those we serve and converted into a boutique hotel lobby. A place where people didn’t just play games but shared stories. And they showed up. Hundreds of guests walked through our VIP ropes, some looking for a moment to reset, others curious about what Journey was. They left with something more: a story worth telling. To Bulletpitch, to their visionary leader Brett Perlmutter, and to our Journey team—thank you. This wasn’t just a lounge. It was proof that in the right space, at the right time, great stories unfold. We captured it all. Watch the recap. Feel the energy. And if you missed it? Join us next time. Because this was just the beginning of ways to bring experiences to and create memories for Journey members, wherever they may travel.

There’s a new wave of venture capital coming… This week, we hosted Austin’s biggest tech event of the year with our friends at?Antler, who share our vision for the future of venture. The ethos of the event was simple:?humanizing founders and investors?by creating a space for authenticity and creativity. Our?carnival-style concept?gave founders and sponsors booths to showcase games and activations, making it easy to connect in a natural, engaging way. And to add even more magic, we had stilt walkers (literally taking venture to new heights), popsicles, popcorn, axe throwing, caricatures, free swag, a photo booth, a cash booth, and a luxury lounge. At Bulletpitch we are redefining venture by building an ecosystem around community, kindness, accessibility, and belief in bold ideas. To the?hundreds of founders and funders?who joined us, thank you for coming and see you in Austin next year! Special thanks to our partners:?Notion, Fidelity, Justworks, Escalon, and Banc of California. Shoutout to:?Allie (couldn't have done it without you), Alexis, Jesse, Tyler (pictured in the amazing photo on the left), John and team, Dave, Anastasia and team, Charlie, Sophia, Tracy, Mike, Beverly, Hannah, Samantha, Ian, Kristen and team, Rachel, Nick and team, Akhil, Sarah, Yousif, Richard, Mark—and everyone else who helped make this happen!

Investing in Creators Like Startups—Is It a Good Idea? Lately, there’s been a lot of buzz about venture investing in creators the way firms invest in startups. The logic tracks—creators have massive distribution and influence. But is it the right model? Here are a few key considerations: 1?? Are creators actually building companies? Creators have niche audiences and unparalleled distribution, but the best startups solve problems—not just capture attention. A creator-led company may tap into an existing fan base, but is the business built to last, or just monetizing influence?" 2?? Do creators actually need capital? A creator worth investing in likely already monetizes well through brand deals, sponsorships, and other revenue streams. Do they need venture funding for their personal brands or could they just raise when spinning up standalone businesses? 3?? What are the long-term effects? Startup founders can exit or fold companies but a creator’s brand is tied to them indefinitely. Bringing on outside investors means giving up a stake in something that can’t easily be separated from the person behind it. What does that mean for their long-term flexibility? One thing is clear—creators will continue to shape the startup world. The question is whether direct investment in them will become the norm or if this is just the first iteration of venture’s relationship with creators. Would love to hear your thoughts—where do you see this trend going? ??

Brands are losing millions to IP theft—and most don’t even realize it. From counterfeit goods to unlicensed artwork, infringement is everywhere, yet most brands still rely on outdated, manual enforcement. Trevor West, Jesse Xu, and Ivan Esmeral, the founders of?Podqi, saw an opportunity to fix that. Their insight??IP enforcement is broken.?Brands either don’t know they’re being ripped off or spend a fortune chasing infringers with slow, manual legal processes. So they built?Podqi, an AI-powered platform that detects, removes, and even monetizes IP infringement at scale. And it’s working.?Podqi already counts brands like Hellstar, CMG Worldwide, and Mainfactor as customers, helping them reclaim lost revenue while cutting enforcement costs. A system that?protects brands and turns IP enforcement into a profit driver? That’s a game-changer. Highly recommend checking out their Bulletpitch feature—linked in the comments below!
