There’s something about good old-fashioned pickup truck conversations—just riding around, looking out the window, and talking about farming and trucking. That’s where the real wisdom gets passed down. I had the chance to do just that with Troy Kramer at J-Six Enterprises in Seneca, Kansas. Over the past 50 years, they’ve built a true dynasty—farming, trucking, feed mills, pet food, hogs, cattle—you name it, they’ve done it. One thing Troy said really stuck with me: “If you don’t tell the story, somebody else will—and possibly in the wrong way.” That hit home. Whether it’s your business, your family, or your legacy, you have to be the one to share the truth. We unpacked a lot, but honestly, I think I need more time in that truck, just riding along and soaking it all in. This episode will air next month!
