On August 15th, 2024, I completed my Applications Testing and Research Internship at Bulk Chemical Supplies (BCS) in Sandersville, Georgia. The experience of using wet chemistry, the dynamic scale loop, and analytical instrumentation in an industrial lab setting with tenured technicians demonstrated a scene in the real life application of the knowledge that I have been taught in my coursework. During my time in the internship, the most exciting experience was seeing how applications testing can impact one of the largest suppliers of chemical products in the Georgia mining industry. This opportunity has sparked many curiosities in future proffessions within Chemistry that I will look towards. I would like to give a special thanks to the administrator that hired me, Harry Colley.
