The unique 15-year partnership between Bvlgari and Save the Children International set the stage for an engaging masterclass hosted by Harvard Business School in honor of World Children's Day. Led by Bvlgari Deputy CEO Laura Burdese and Save the Children Chief Development Officer US Luciana Bonifacio, the masterclass welcomed around 100 students from The Retail & Luxury Goods Club, A Student Club at Harvard Business School and Social Enterprise Club, A Student Club at Harvard Business School. Fabrizio Buonamassa, Bvlgari’s Product Creation Executive Director and French artist Laurent Grasso discuss the Maison’s latest collaborative timepiece. Inspired by the beauty of the cosmos, the timepiece comes in a deep midnight-blue hue that captures the tranquility of the post-sunset sky. Its dial showcases a cloud motif that, when viewed from above, casts rainbow-like reflections. Art meets industry, at the newly reopened Bvlgari Manufacture in Saignelegier, Switzerland. Inaugurated on November 14th, 2024, the enlarged and redesigned building brings watch case and dial production together under one roof. Bvlgari CEO Jean-Christoph Babin, LVMH Watches CEO Friederich Arnault joined the inauguration ceremony at this unique and ultra-modern facility, which is equipped with a range of large-scale production machines, able to handle both small and medium production runs, as well as high-end artisanal applications. The handcrafted dials that define the Maison’s high-end watches will be crafted in a new Me?tiers d’Art workshop, whiile a new space dedicated to “Artmanship” – the fusion of Art and Craftsmanship – has been established at the heart of the manufacture. The well-being of the 130 employees working in Saignelegier is at the heart of the redesigned facility, which features a new floor with a staff restaurant and outdoor terrace, as well as a wellness and recreation area. Every detail tells a story. Roman opulence meets the understated refinement of Japan, in an immersive pop-up experience and captivating window displays at the exclusive Hankyu Department Store, Umeda Main Store in Osaka. A see-through wall at the center of the pop-up space – an homage to visionary designer Eileen Gray – casts mesmerizing shadows that dance across the interior, while the pattern of the floor is a projection of the ceiling of the Pantheon in Rome, providing a beautiful setting for the Maison’s masterpieces. The pop-up is complemented by seven window displays that invite the dance of light and shadow to unfold through the materiality of paper. Meticulously crafted gradients of orange, reminiscent of the Roman sunset, allow the shades within each window transition seamlessly, echoing the nuanced palette of Japanese craftsmanship. #Bvlgari #BvlgariStore #Osaka
