???One of the hottest trends in AI today is the rise of industry-specific AI Agents. Think of them like little virtual robots that can analyze, decide, and execute tasks on your behalf. Unlike traditional AI that requires human input, AI Agents operate autonomously: analyzing deals, checking for compliance, and making asset valuation predictions all day, every day, without error. ???Conceptually, AI Agents aren’t anything new. The last 80 years of science fiction always asked, “What if machines could do our jobs?” But there’s always been a really big obstacle: training the machine. Thanks to Big Data, compute power, and machine learning advancements, we’re now at the point where we can properly train and commercialize AI Agents. These systems are cost-efficient, accessible from a laptop, and have massive upside. ???What’s the catch? Remember HAL 9000 from 2001: A Space Odyssey? That’s an extreme (and fictional) case of AI going rogue. But even today’s “narrow” AI Agents can make bad calls. There’s dozens of trust, accuracy, and ethical concerns emerging. The risks of AI Agents deserve their own discussion. But for now, anyone in legacy industries should start recognizing how these tools might reshape their software and workflows. ???I’d love to hear if you think AI Agents are friend or foe

???Liquidity describes how efficiently an asset can be exchanged, for cash or another asset, without significantly impacting its price. Markets vary in liquidity based on trading volume, market depth, and participant activity. Stocks of major companies are highly liquid, while private equity, real estate, and niche assets are often illiquid. For example, selling shares of Apple can be done instantly at market price, while selling a rare painting may take months to find a buyer and negotiate a sale. ?? DeFi is not exempt from basic economics, yet a recurring misconception is that tokenizing an illiquid asset automatically creates liquidity. The logic assumes that access to more investors increases liquidity, but it neglects a fundamental truth: not all investors are buyers. For liquidity to exist, what’s being tokenized must be in high demand. When buyers don’t show up, the bid-ask spread widens, making it harder to sell without taking a loss. Sellers often end up accepting deep discounts just to exit their positions. ???Data can drive liquidity. Markets function best when buyers and sellers agree on value. Transparent, high-quality data enables accurate price discovery, reducing uncertainty and improving liquidity. Informed buyers are more willing to participate, and sellers can price assets more competitively. Without data, price discrepancies widen, discouraging trades and deepening illiquidity. Private markets, even those that claim to offer “greater transparency” through tokenization, often lack recent, verified, and structured data, making price discovery difficult. ?? Building, Inc solves this by combining investment banking expertise, advanced data extraction tools, and tokenization integrations to enable real price discovery and unlock liquidity in private markets.

???Most FinTech solutions don’t actually create the democratization they proclaim. They are last-mile solutions, expecting you to come hat in hand with all of the grueling work already taken care of. After you’ve spent thousands of dollars on back-office work, sifted through stacks of paper, and leveraged years of experience, then you can finally use these platforms. And the processes they automate are simple: signing a PDF, displaying some investment statistics, or sorting investor information into columns and rows. ???Anyone who works in data science will recognize this pattern. 80% of the effort goes into collecting and cleaning data, while only 20% is spent on analysis and prediction. Real estate works the same way: 80% of the work happens before an asset is investable, while only 20% happens at the transaction stage. The real barriers to entry aren’t in buying and selling assets, they’re in making assets ready for investment in the first place. ???I was speaking with our Head of Compliance, Dante Cervantes, who has over 25 years in controllership, and he pointed out that an asset manager can spend $100 on AI that creates a portfolio valuation, but $40,000 organizing and verifying the data. This is what makes Building, Inc different. We don’t just optimize the last-mile, we fix the foundation. ? We help real estate developers build better systems for collecting, verifying, and structuring data. Then, we integrate the tools to analyze, check for compliance, or raise capital. Simple if-then programs can tell you whether you meet reporting requirements. A true AI-driven platform helps you actually meet them.

"The Industrial Revolution transformed the world. Steam, steel, and oil powered empires. Today, the fuel of progress isn’t oil—it’s data." I’m excited to release the official channel trailer for Building, Inc. Enjoy a glimpse into the future of real estate and capital markets. Wearing my Stand With Crypto pin, I draw a parallel between the extraction and refinement of crude oil and the collection and structuring of data. Just as oil powered the modern age, information will fuel the next era of capital markets. The tokenized future is being built now. ?? YouTube: https://lnkd.in/ejxYvMAR
