The Building Industry Association of Washington (BIAW) is one of the state’s largest and most influential organizations fighting for the rights of residential home builders, remodelers and associates in Washington state. Chartered in 1950 by the National Association of Home Builders, BIAW represents thousands of member companies statewide in collaboration with our 14 local building associations. BIAW battles 365 days a year on members’ behalf so we can build homes people can afford.

Washington’s impact fees are some of the highest in the country, adding over $18,000 to the cost of a new home! That’s why over 80% of Washington families can’t afford to buy.
