OUR Center (Build Our Center, Inc.)

OUR Center is northern Nevada's LGBT community center, based in Reno, Nevada. We work to Build, Connect, and Strengthen the LGBT community to celebrate diversity and sustain a thriving, community-based organization for the empowerment and support of LGBT people and our allies in Northern Nevada. Our Mission is to establish and maintain a safe, empowering, and supportive center in Northern Nevada that addresses advocacy, education and services. In order to achieve this mission we work to: - Build a foundation to sustain a community center, where people of all ages and back grounds can come together for support, education, and social activities; - Connect community members, organizations, and resources to encourage advocacy, cultural development, and personal well-being, and; - Strengthen the network of support to increase innovative programs and services.
